Found this dandelion fluff laying on the ground this morning. Not sure how it survived both the mower and the weed whacker, but here it is in all its glory.
Nicely sidelit by direct sun, these things are very hard to shoot and get anything really in focus unless you back off and use a long lens.
They do look cool and fascinate me photographically though.
