So, we followed the instructions and about 3 weeks later we each received a padded shipping envelope w/return address label. Pop the iPod into the envelope, take it to UPS and waiting for the new units.
Our replacement iPods arrived on Monday afternoon (1/16/12). Imagine my surprise when I opened the box and found not a Gen 2 nano, but rather a Gen 6 nano. And 8Gb vs. the original 2Gb. Now all my music fits on the nano.
I probably wouldn't have purchased a Gen 6 nano since I have both a iPhone and a iPad, but this little bugger is really cool. FM radio and a step counter? Stopwatch & countdwon timer? Sweet!
Life is good.
